Sports Journalism
I want to pursue a career in sports journalism. I thought it would only be fitting that I have that as my topic of choice. It would be a dream of mine to report on the LA Lakers for the LA times.
Newest addition to the Lakers before the trade deadline. Hopefully he can help the Lakers solve their issues as they reach the end of the end season.
Sports is important to me because I grew up with it all around me. It has give me all the friends I have now. We all played on the same teams growing up. I believe it’s also an important part of history as well. Without sports, there would be no Muhammad Ali’s, Jackie Robinson’s and lots of more athletes that had to go through many hardships to break down racial barriers.
LeBron Approves of the newest addition to the Lakers. Hopefully he can keep the same energy and momentum going in to the post season.
Sideline reporter for the Lakers Mike Trudell. He’s an excellent reporter and writer for the Lakers. This man has my dream job. Watch out Mike, I’m coming for your job one day. Respectfully.
I wouldn’t even know what to say if I ever got the chance to interview Kobe. He’s been my favorite player since I was 10. He was literally my idol growing up. I was extremely saddened with his passing. One day I hope to interview sports legends like Kobe.
Me in the future. Don’t sleep on it. Catch me on ESPN. Prime time baby.
Kobe was an icon in the Los Angeles community. Not only did he help bring home 5 championships but he had an amazing impact even off the floor. He was involved in philanthropy and donated to many organizations such as the boys and girls club. His presence was a worldwide impact.
This is an excellent video of Bill Simmons explaining the evolution of sports journalism. Bill Simmons is one of the all time great NBA reporters. He’s had an extremely successful career. I hope to be as successful as him one day.
Sports has been my passion since I was a kid. I’ve never been athletic enough to pursue a career in professional sports. Though I may not be athletic enough, I figured I can still pursue and see what goes on behind the scenes, interview athletes, and report on whatever goes on in the sports world. I’d even be interested in the technical side and see what goes on behind the camera. One day I hope to work for a huge sports platform such as ESPN, LA Times Sports, or Bleacher Report.
